Red Moon
Red Mood is a capstone project developed in the Visual Effects program at Sheridan College in 2025.
The film follows a quiet journey through nature. A character notices something unusual, leading to a wildfire and the appearance of a mysterious red moon.
Red Mood explores mood and atmosphere through environmental storytelling. Embers act as visual clues, guiding the viewer through the growing tension.
The project showcases my skills in FX simulation, including fire, smoke, and cloud dynamics, as well as compositing techniques such as transforming a night sky into a glowing orange atmosphere.
3D Previs
Created in Unreal Engine, with AI-generated backgrounds to support the visual storytelling.
Behind the Scenes
Filmed on location during the Canadian winter, the production challenged both cast and crew to work in extreme cold. I'm truly thankful for my team's dedication and support throughout the shoot.
